Why Kite flying?
It’s Indian Independence day on 15th of August, the sky is dotted with kites of various hues, shapes, and sizes. This popular activity is carried out nation-wide and the tradition still continues associating with the spirit of freedom 🙂
What is a Thali?
Thali, meaning a round tray or a plate, is typically an Indian meal made up of a selection of various dishes. This selection of dishes varies from region to region in India and usually served in small bowls on a round tray. This year Mukka will be serving a special a South Indian Thali (available for this day only). Think Medu Vadai, Dosas, curries with lots of mustard seeds and curry leaves.
